The National Honor Society is preeminent for recognizing students with imminent grades and honorable characters, I believe this organization makes a great impact in the community and helps in the overall betterment of the student as well. I would like to be assimilated in these community services to my school and to my community. I have heard how this club makes a person a better leader with a good character and discipline. I have been looking forward to this opportunity since the beginning of High School. To me, NHS’s four pillars are essential elements to being a member of this society.
The National Honor Society is an organization that enables high school students to help and improve their school and neighboring communities. It is an immense honor and privilege to be invited to be a member of this association, and it would be an even greater honor to actively participate and add to the existing society in ACST. Joining the National Honor Society would help me grow as a person and allow me to demonstrate the 4 pillars of NHS, in effect helping our school community and region in general. Leadership and service are both exhibited by all NHS members. This year, I have been starting to become both a silent and appointed leader in class.
If anyone tries to tell them different, you better bet I will be there to stick up for them. I feel I should be a part of the Crestwood National Honor Society because I have strong leadership and character skills that would be beneficial to the club. I like to be involved and involve everyone not just the people that are well known to the school. Dear the National Honor Society selection committee, Thank you for the great honor of being invited to apply for membership to such a well-respected and incredible organization. I am very excited about this opportunity as it presents an optimal way in which to further my passion of expanding my mind and bettering my community. Since I entered high school, I have pursued this by taking all honors classes and any Advanced Placement classes offered to me each year. Although sometimes I was not always entirely sure what to expect walking into each class, and of course there have been classes I like more than others, there is no class I regret taking because each and every one has opened my mind up to a new way of thinking.
When I first hear about National Honor Society in the beginning of my middle school years I knew that it was something I not only wanted to be a part of but that I was meant to be a part of. Growing up much of my time was spent around adults causing me to mature quickly and realize things others my age did not. I have always been driven and independent and accept noting but the best from myself especially when it comes to academics. I maintained straight A's all throughout my education up until high school. Having a 6.4 GPA freshman year and a 6.1 GPA at the beginning of junior year as well as being number 141 of 713 in my class.
I accept this opportunity the National Honor society has granted me with the utmost gratitude. Members of the National Honors society are encouraged to uphold four main traits which are but not limited to scholarship, service, leadership and character. Holding up to these characteristics is crucial to being apart of this organization because they help you succeed in adult life. I believe I have the foundation of theses characteristics, I have pride in my grades and strive to achieve above and beyond what my teachers ask. I find it important to provide my services to my community because it builds surrounding people as well as myself.
The National Honor Society serves as a symbol of excellence for the community of Los Fresnos, Texas. As a hardworking and goal-oriented student, I would be honored to be selected for the NHS. The standards of the National Honor Society closely align with the standards I hold for myself. I believe that joining such a prestigious organization will greatly benefit my community involvement and academic abilities. The NHS would serve as a valuable stepping-stone for my future as a leader.
The National Honor Society is an organization that symbolizes character, scholarship, leadership, and services. I believe I meet all four of these characteristics; however, with the help of this organization, I would like to improve all of these qualities. First of all, I consider my self a very dedicated person. Once I set my mind to something there is no way I will not do it to the best of my abilities. I will commit myself to do my very best at every task that is given to me.
I am grateful to have encountered the National Society of Leadership and Success in my life. It is a pleasure to be the President of the San Juan College NSLS chapter. It has been a great semester so far. I truly believe in the society’s mission statement considering it has helped student members at San Juan College. My favorite event that the society has as a requirement for induction are the SNTs.
I feel as though I could benefit National Honor Society through my leadership qualities, willingness to dedicate my time to the community, positive character, and perseverance to succeed in academics. While I may not hold many leadership positions at this time, I am able to step up and take charge in any necessary situations. Additionally, one can see that it is important that I take time out of my day to serve others as I devote two hours each weekend to volunteer. My academic standing is also of importance to me, believing that consistency in school is a crucial factor in achieving success. I challenge myself by choosing to take any honors or AP classes available and striving to put forth utmost effort in each class.

Becoming a member of the National Honor Society has been a goal I set for myself since I was a student in middle school. I have been greatly looking forward to this moment for a very long time. It is an extraordinary honor to be considered as a candidate for the National Honor Society. Being considered means I have achieved my goal in demonstrating my determination- in school and outside of school- and my willingness to aid people in my community. Being a part of such a prestigious organization is an enormous responsibility to which I will fully devote my time. Ever since I was a freshman, my goal was to work diligently to be among the highest scholars and to be accepted into this scholarly “hall of fame”. To become a member of the highly esteemed National Honors Society would mean that I have achieved my goal of being an archetype student for North Penn High School. To be blunt, I had stressed over applying for NHS for quite a while, but it was not until mid-way through the application process in which I realized my life is based around the qualities that the National Honor Society holds in high value. I have been yearning to be a part of this remarkable organization since I graduated my freshman year as an officer in NJHS. Since then, my time has been filled with countless volunteering and involvement in extracurricular activities. I am very passionate about what I become invested into, and I work at achieving my goals to the fullest.
Getting nominated by my professors and other school leaders to be a candidate for membership in the National Honor Society is a great honor for me. It means that I have acquired my goal of demonstrating my determination and persistence. I believe that I will be able to become a valuable member of the National Honor Society even though I haven't fully developed all the qualities required by this prestigious organization. Although I haven’t fully developed all the qualities, I believe that the National Honor Society will help me achieve the growth and development I need in the qualities required. The qualities required by this organization are scholarship, leadership, character and service abilities.
When I was 14, I saw my remarkable cousin walk across the stage to receive her award for all her years of dedication to be inducted into National Honor Society. She encompassed all the requirements for entrance into the National Honor Society and ever since then, I have had my mindset on following in her footsteps and stepping even farther to conquer the indefinite. As I opened the letter to be invited to apply for membership, I could not even remember the last time my eyes and smile sprouted that immense because to me, being nominated to be a member of the National Honor Society is an honor in itself. I would be thrilled to join such a society because of the limitless opportunities it would present to me. Joining NHS would allow me to grow as a person and do as much as I can for others.
