NHS Personal Statement If I am accepted into National Honor Society, I believe I can make a lasting positive impact on the organization. With my academic aptitude, strong work ethic, and positive attitude, I know I can greatly benefit both the society and others outside of the society. Firstly, as my academic record shows, I am extremely motivated to do well and achieve good grades.
As a prospective member of the National Honor Society, I feel that I would be a good fit for National Honor Society because of my willingness to do service for our community and because of my willingness to help others. In the beginning of my freshman year I aspired to be a part of such a great organization and I am so thrilled with the possibility of being a future member. It would be an honor and a privilege to be in National Honor Society and I would take my duties and tasks very seriously. I feel that MCC’s National Honor Society is a superior group of students who will help motivate me by portraying high quality character and a good academically humble backdrop for the rest of my highschool career. I believe MCC’s National Honor Society
The National Honor Society (NHS) stands by such values as Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and character; it is these values that I strive to live by. I have received the opportunity to become a proud member of the NHS, and have been humbled by this chance. Throughout my high school career I try to be involved in anything I can help the school, from being a part of community service activities. Also, I have achieved my goal to work as hard as I possibly can to stand out among my peers. Even outside of school I have worked to uphold the values of club, and shall continue to do so if I chosen.
I am extremely honored to be eligible for this opportunity to apply for the National Honor Society. Becoming a member of the National Honor Society has been a goal I set for myself since I was a student in middle school. I have been greatly looking forward to this moment for a very long time. Overall, I have worked incredibly hard these last two years to display a positive character and obtain qualities such as leadership, responsibility, and scholarship. I strongly believe I will be a productive and reliable member of the National Honor Society at Harvard H. Ellis Technical High School.
It is an extraordinary honor to be considered as a candidate for the National Honor Society. Being considered means I have achieved my goal in demonstrating my determination- in school and outside of school- and my willingness to aid people in my community. Being a part of such a prestigious organization is an enormous responsibility to which I will fully devote my time. Ever since I was a freshman, my goal was to work diligently to be among the highest scholars and to be accepted into this scholarly “hall of fame”. Through my relentless hard work and perseverance, I believe that I possess the four characteristics of a National Honor Society member- leadership, service, character, and scholarship.
I am extremely honored to be taken into consideration for membership in our school’s National Honor Society. I have been awaiting this opportunity for a long time; I will be a valuable asset to the National Honor Society. NHS will allow me to expand my current abilities and also grow as a person. I display the qualities NHS is looking for- scholarship, character, service, and leadership. Academic excellence has always been my top priority.
It is an honor to be nominated for the National Honor Society. The fact that I was nominated proves to me that all of my hard work and dedication has not been for nothing. The National Honor Society is known for recognizing students who strive to achieve their best not only in school but in themselves and the community. I believe that I’m one of those students. Based upon my last two year at Matawan Regional I now have a 3.9 GPA and am ranked in the top 20% of my graduating class.
The National Honor Society is an achievement that, if accepted, would affirm all my hard work thus far. Since coming to Columbus North International in 2013, I’ve joined several clubs in order to immerse myself with new people and new things. During freshman year, I joined GSA or ‘Gay-Straight Alliance.’ Within that club, I learned to accept people for who they are and not judge someone on their preferences, beliefs or points of view. I also had a brief involvement in the Homework Club, where I developed a stronger work ethic and was able to help others, which I took great pride in doing.
