Whether it is communicating with a coworker to get a task accomplished correctly, actively-listening to a professor for instruction on an assignment, or listening to your partner’s desires and feelings; communication is a key aspect to many, if not all, life situations. In Paris Je T’aime “Faubourg Saint Denis” (2006), listening/communication is extremely important in Thomas (Melchior Derouet) and Francine’s (Natalie Portman) relationship because Thomas is blind. Without good practice of either of these qualities, it causes lots of confusion for Thomas. I would like the main aspect of my project to invite participation from others.
