Stephen Edwin King was born September 21, 1947, in Portland, Maine. King showed an interest in horror in his high school years, reading EC's horror comics and Tales from the Crypt. At the same time King loved to write for fun. Writing articles for his brother’s newspaper and selling stories to his friends based on movies that he have seen. Even so, he was seen by a professor and was driven to pay back all the winnings he had arrived at. Stephen King has the ability to use his gothic and horror elements and draw us as the reader understand these creatures or people in a different light. That is why Stephen King is known as unitary of the greatest horror and gothic writers of our fourth dimension with his ability to merge these elements, use his real life experiences in order to create reports such as Carrie, Pet Sematary and The Shining. Carrie lives with her abusive, insane and fanatically religious mother Margaret White. So when Carrie had her period at school and believe that she was dying instead of getting help from her fellow peers she is tormented by them. Since Margaret White is crazy also instead of helping her understand what was happening, she believed that Carrie`s period was some sort of sign of sin and ends up punishing Carrie for it. So basically Carrie is not safe no matter where she lives. Afterwards that, all of a sudden she was taken out to prom by some guy. A modest group of people had a plan to pour pig's blood all over this hapless girl. When prom can Carrie and the guy won the title of prom queen and king and during the creation the poured it all over her. Which caused Carrie to snap in a blind rage Carrie ends up using her power to trap and kill everyone in the school. Which was a prom that no one will ever
