For most of my life, I was a socially inept introvert. At any given time during the weekends, one could find me in my room playing video games or reading a book. The effort I made to make friends at school was minimal and my conversations topics were limited to school and video games. I had some friends, but I would describe them as lukewarm. The friendship was never tight or meaningful. Although I wanted to, I never had the courage to branch out past those of similar gender with interests that directly corresponded with mine.
