This is another culture in a another generation overrun by “white” skinned terroists. A culture, being indoctrinated when they were conquered by a larger force. I see this same operation used today with various government programs such as Goals2000. 1. children taken from one culture and forced into another
2. writers grandmother went to this school run by nuns then the mother and herself, all tried to run away and were captured and brought back
3. even in the 70‘s the school run by nuns still beat the children, and they were beaten if they prayed to their own gods- ironic for the catholic church which embraces all religions,
4. the regimen was like a penal colony, forced prayer times, and marching drills
5. after an attempt by the authors sister to run away with 5 others the nuns abused the girls
6. the author was beaten while ill and didn’t want to go to mass, a required function
7. her classroom was beside the principals office and she could here the boys being beaten racism breeds racism in reverse.
8. the girls were fed a very poor diet while the nuns ate good food, and the sleeping quarters were not warmed during the winter
