Going on a journey is easier said than done. Especially when emotions, friendships and the past are involved. Society tends to think of journeys to only be physical, getting from one place to the next. And although that might be true other forms of journey’s such as emotional, and spiritual may have a greater effect on people. Participants in this march were vying for the restoration of Catholic traditions and ways of life. All of this was in response to those who were against this movement and were working to raise the Crown’s authority after being worried about an uprising or revolt against the Protestant King.
The hero’s journey is an adventure that every protagonist takes. As a story goes on the main character takes a journey; a journey into a different world as himself and comes out a different person. Odysseus takes a journey of temptation and hardship; bringing him to realize that even though he may be a king, he is not the greatest. The Odyssey demonstrates the Hero’s journey accurately.
A hero's journey is a pattern of narrative identities that appears in many dramas, storytellings, myths, and psychological development. The journey consist of twelve different steps and in the story Beowulf we read about the magnificent and rough journey that Beowulf and this men accomplish. When I first joined my church’s lion dance team, I had an empty skill set for lion dancing. My partner and I (two people per lion, a head and a tail) came to every practice full of energy and eager to learn from the best dancers, dubbed “Group 1,” on our team. Another quality that most heroes have is the ability to make decisions even if they are bad decisions.

It was early 1995 when I first turned my life over to God, at this point in my life I had lost hope of moving forward in life. Got a call that my best friend had been killed due to a gun shot to the head I just felt like I had lost my entire world I decided I wanted to live right and that the party life was not right for me. Religion was seen as personal to many of the civilians living. However, most of them worshipped many Gods, they had many different templates. The many different gods were cruel and unkind, however they were still important to the Greeks and splendid temples and sanctuaries were built in their honor, as well as festivals to pay tribute to their gods. Apart of the festivals there were also venue for competitions in poetry, drama, music, athletics. The depth that these Greeks would go through to explore the different myths and tales of the gods they would travel widely to hear exciting tales about the perils of travel and exploration.
