I had a wonder semester in LSIS 4505. The three things that I learned during this course is how to make a lesson plan, what books are banned and challenged in different districts, and bibliotherapy books. It takes times to make a lesson plan. Sometimes your lesson plan does not always go as plan. When my teacher first assigned this, I was nervous because this was my first time making one.

It is sad so much confusion surrounds Initiative 42, especially when nearly 200,000 Mississippians signed petitions to have it placed on the November ballot to amend the state Constitution. If passed, Initiative 42 will hold the Mississippi legislature accountable for keeping its promise to fully fund public schools. That should be simple enough, but Governor Bryant has done everything within his power to confuse the issue. Is he that two-faced?
I think that things have changed because Bryce has changed his feelings towards Juliana completely since the beginning of the story because he now likes Juli, feeling the need to defend her and her family, and feels very guilty about the things he has done to her. One point that proves that Bryce has changed his feelings towards Juli is that he now likes her. Proof of this is on pages 6 and 123. On page 6, Bryce says, “I still has enough sense at age seven and a half to know that Juli Baker was dangerous.” This shows that Bryce wanted nothing to do with Juli and he wants to avoid her.

However, a cheaper alternative would be to sincerely hold workers’ appreciation day every year. Workers of exemplary performance would receive employee benefits in the form of paid leave or extra percentage of wages for the year. A more effective method is to tie the workers’ wages with the performance of the company. Showing appreciations to the workers would effectively build the motivations of the workers. While tying their wages with the company’s performance would improve their efficiency.
Recognition for hard work is a great way to accomplish a positive work environment. If an employee receives recognition and positive reinforcement, they will the prompted to continue carrying out the hard work. Recognition can range from a small verbal recognition by another employee or a superior; to a pay raise or promotion in the company. Even the smallest bit of recognition can change how an employee works and their opinion about the company. Smart companies do not want their employees to be unhappy, without recognition, there is no reason for an employee to be positive in their work environment.
