Customer orders, inventory, purchases are all kept tracked on a physical copy. This current system uses a big amount of papers which can lead to some problems. Problems such as misplacing of papers, mixing up orders etc. of customer orders and purchases. The system used by the business can create a lot of conflict with the customer orders, the inventory, the purchases and the revenue. Every order is handwritten and stored in each customer’s files containing desired items, number of items, total cost including taxes and the estimated amount of days before the customer receives the goods. The monthly sales are summed up by hand and calculator to determine the revenue of the business. A customer order usually takes up to 6 days before it is available for pickup.
