“A suicide bomber (or suicide attacker) is a person who participates in a suicide attack.” Suicide attacks are always unexpected and extremely brutal. It could be your nextdoor neighbor or a quiet kid in your class who is searching for revenge and redemption. Young or old, man or woman, these suicide bombers are everywhere. The bomber could attack, what is considered “a soft target”, such as a concert. The target can be a bus in Israel during rush hour or a skyscraper in Manhattan. What drives these bombers and how are they influenced? Are the attacks performed out of prejudice or because the bomber has been brainwashed? The Islamic religion factor convinces its followers through the words of Muhammad that they are martyrs who will go to paradise. “Narrated By Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, “The person who participates in (Holy battles) in Allah’s cause and nothing compels him to do so except belief in Allah and His Apostles, will be recompensed by Allah either with a reward, or booty (if he survives) or will be admitted to Paradise (if he is killed in the battle as a martyr).
