How does the text fit into historical movements? Well in Andrew Jackson Speech to Congress on Indian Removal the story stated “ During the fall and winter of 1838 and 1839, the cherokees were forcibly moved west by the United States government”. I think that Andrew Jackson created his own revolution there when he got all the Indians out the south because the way he felt about the indians was very stereotypically. Well, one fundamental historical event from Andrew Jackson Speech to Congress on Indian Removal was The Trail of Tears. Its when America breach the Cherokees Indians for not leaving from the south to the west. Now obviously America wasn't invisible so the Cherokees had to fight back when they saw them coming. After the fight of course America won and the Cherokees had no men to salvage. Personally the reason why I think this is a fundamental historical event is because America new they were gonna win and felt like this was a flagrant part of our history. I feel like for this we can only blame one man, the commander at the time Andrew Jackson because more than 4,000 Cherokees died.
