Another Falsified Rant by Tucker Carlson I am writing this letter based on the Fox News Article Tucker Carlson: This is the State of International Women’s Day To the Editor: As per usual, Tucker Carlson’s rant towards anyone but straight white conservative men can be proven to be far from the truth. When speaking about international women’s day, Carlson claims “That's the day we as a global community celebrate women, but if you looked closely at the women we were celebrating, you may have noticed a lot of them weren't actually women. They were lumpy-looking dudes, and that was not accidental.” Yet looking at statistics, Carlson’s claim of men taking over international women’s day and ruining feminism proves that he is incorrect and focuses on a demographic that doesn’t exist. _______________________________________ …show more content…

Carlson claims feminism is over yet three percent of a population cannot completely change how feminism is perceived today. Even if the three percent of people who are transgender are being celebrated on international women’s day, there are still millions of women who are not transgender who can be celebrated by men like Tucker Carlson. So why is it that Carlson is upset over the small fraction of women who are transgender? It seems that Carlson is upset over the fact that women are just no longer submissive to men like him. While there is nothing wrong with women who choose to live their life with the standards and morals traditionally upheld, there is also nothing wrong with women wanting to pursue their own interests and aspirations outside of those values. Shouldn’t women be able to express themselves however they would like? It seems that Carlson only appreciates those who fit within his standards of a
