Having a growth mindset will allow you to take risks and hard challenges without having the fear of failure. When you set difficult goals, you have to have a growth mindset. You won't be dumb or stupid if you fail at the goal, but as a person you should want to reach the goal if it's all you dreamed of. As the author explains, “They weren't concerned about looking bad or feeling stupid.They were interested in the learning and were able to get better with practice or effort”, (Zucker, pp.10). Practicing hard work will contribute to setting goals and having a growth mindset. You weren't born with a growth mindset, you have to develop it and know practice makes perfect.
