Overall, the book is a great read, even for those who do not enjoy
Although the book 's pacing starts out a bit slow, it quickly gains speed when the conflict is introduced. The wording used in the book is easy to comprehend yet it never seems to be over simplified. The plot is engaging enough to keep the reader’s attention but also manages to be easy to follow. I found that even though the book dragged in portions it was still an overall satisfactory read. I greatly enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys books of the YA
One of the things that makes this book so great are the characters, the characters are bizarre and interesting while still seeming real and relatable. The characters are also really interesting because of their backstories in particular Liz’s backstory which we know almost nothing
It was much better than I had anticipated before reading it. Wes Moore is a strong author who properly used writing mechanics to deliver powerful scenes and great messages. I would say that the main theme of this book is the importance of education in adolescent life and that small things really can make all of the difference. The author Wes Moore 's life appeared very dull in comparison to the other Wes Moore 's; however, it was Wes Moore 's life that would provide quotes that inspire or were otherwise relatable to MAST life. One such quote in the novel was : "In spite of myself, I was impressed.
So far I really enjoy the book. It is a very easy read and it is a page-turner. I like how the book uses Max’s point of view. Although Kevin’s point of view would be interesting too.
I love being at the edge of my seat during a book. If you do to this book is perfect. It will give you a new view on things in life. You will feel like you are right there doing the crime, or skipping school with them. The book is so descriptive it almost feels like you are getting beat with the tube sock of bar soap.
It showed that the pressure of always being perfect and beautiful was hard on her. I also liked that most students can relate to being pressured to be something they’re not. I disliked that I felt the length of the book on multiple occasions. I identified with Paige because I have also been pressured to be someone I don’t want to be. In the story, Paige is pressured to be perfect and make no mistakes and this often happens in real life.
Throughout history people have done terrible things, such as the holocaust. Although there are many good people there was more people that stood around on the sidelines and did nothing to help the people getting affected by the Nazis. It is effedent that Holocaust survivor Fred Gross, and Terrible Things author Eve Bunting think this as well. They each teach this generation and the next when you know to help. But they use different styles, such as an allegory and a video.
I would recommend this book to any teenage girl who won’t mine wasting tissues for tears and will not mine getting angry at characters. I would recommend this book to a teenage girl because of all of the romance and usually boy aren’t in to those things. If you are up for the challenge, I will recommend this book to you. All I have to say if you decide to read this novel, fasten your seat belts and enjoy the ride through a page-turning journey, the loops the author puts you threw from her described word choice and the swift pace you’re put on by the
It 's a jaw-dropping book that will leave you wanting more as the author Laurie writes in a crisp and clear way describing the young girl Melinda’s horrific story and how it unfolds. The author 's tone gives off the vibe of a young frighted girl which I find really enhances this sad, but exhilarating story. This story taught me to always speak up for myself and to never let anyone take advantage of me. I would recommend this novel because it is extremely detailed, painting vivid pictures in your mind that really help to magnify and
It is a well thought out book that runs smoothly through its deluxe plot. In a good way, it seems to always have a plot twist right after the next. Even the ending keeps you into the book. The book leads off with a teenage boy stuck in an elevator.

Taylor also makes it is clear to see how the children, within the book, mature with the influences of other family members. readers are able to see each characters grow within themselves though out the book, this is nothing but true when reflecting Cassie Logan’s
It took me a moment to grasp everything that’s happened in this book before I can move on with my life. I didn’t really know what this book is about except that somehow the main character keeps living her last day over and over again. I didn’t know that this book is actually about bullying and depression. Also, trigger warning for suicide.
I liked “Just another girl” from the get go. The book started out interesting and was so well written that I wanted to keep reading throughout the whole book. In the book I thought that I should look at my own life and analyze how I am living my everyday standards. I look up to Aster, how she concentrates on her demeanor and believes in herself. Like other teens her age, Aster does not focus on what others think of her, but what she thinks of herself.
