In the spring of 2007 Hackettstown Fish Hatchery set up nets at Neldon Brook which leads into Swartswood Lake. “The Hackettstown crew began their walleye broodstock collection season on April 2nd when they set one Pennsylvania and two South Dakota-style trap nets in Swartswood Lake near the mouth of Neldon Brook” (Lemon). Walleye fishing is very popular in New Jersey and are introduced in an environment to increase fish diversity.
The name of my book is The Ghost of Fossil Glen by Cynthia Defelice it was published on March 25, 1998. Cynthia Defelice wrote the book because as a child her mother read to her and that’s when she started loving books but it wasn't until she was 36 that she decided she wanted books for children. Other than being a writer she also owns a farm with her husband who is retired and she want to improve her farm. Defelice has written 16 novel and 12 picture books for young readers three of her books are The Ghost of Cutler Creek,Fort, and Wild Life. In the beginning of the story the setting is on a cliff in Fossil Glen and moves on to her school and her home.
The novel Red Rock Mysteries, Haunted Waters by Jerry B. Jenkins and Chris Fabry is about two teenage twins, Bryce and Ashley. This text is about how Bryce and Ashley deal with bullies, their new blended family and a stalker. The twins get caught up in a burglary scheme and end up fight for their lives. Reading this novel made me feel animated. I felt this because things always end up going wrong for the twins throughout the text, but as I think it's all over for the twins, they think of a way to get out of trouble.
