The College Degrees and Skills Employers Most Want is a 2015 article written by Susan Adams. The article is based on a survey conducted by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). Their research and statistics were gathered by more than a thousand top employers, such as American Express and Exxon Mobile. The survey asked what the top skills they looked for when hiring a college graduate. The top three responses were critical thinking and problem solving, teamwork, and professionalism and work ethic. Throughout the rest of this paper we will dive further into detail at why these are the most desirable skills to an employer.
