Stephen King The Jaunt We are listening to two different stories, in our text "The Jaunt". There are two parallel stories. In the first story we hear about Caruna’s trip and how is was. We also hear how they tested the clock with small white mice .In the story, would you also find out why it went wrong with the white teleport. The story is told by the professor, and then we get the story told from the third-person-perspective. There are two stories, and the story is about the other guy Jaunted, which they wish to send to Mars, where he sits in a big room and waited to try the teleport. Patty is the first person which are going away and she is really scared, by the fact that she doesn’t know what is waiting for her. In the text she says, "Dad, I am scared" and asks for what happened with the test more than once. It feels like she is scared to land.
