Doodles Brother has this determination and used it very well. “ It seemed so hopeless from the beginning that it's a miracle I didn't give up” (Hurts 558). In this case Doodles Brother had persistence threw out the betters part of the story. “ Once I had succeeded in teaching Doodle to walk I began to believe in my own infallibility and I posted a terrific developed program for him unknowing to mama and daddy( Hurts 559). Continuing on he countered up many other ideas to use his persistence to his Doodles advantage. “ The exermet of our program had now been gave for weeks but we kept on with a tired doggedness”(Hurts 561).
