In The Scorch Trials by James Dashner, Thomas a teenager learns that WICKED is untrustworthy. To begin with, Thomas and the gladers defend the Safe Haven from WICKED. There forth, Thomas and the gang escape from WICKED’s test facility. There, they meet scorch survivors Jorge and Brenda at the crank asylum. From there Thomas and Brenda get split from the group, in which they meet up at the Safe Haven.
The Iron Trial is about a 12 year-old boy named Call and his 2 friends Aaron and Tamara. Call’s dad is a mage (magician) but he hasn 't used magic since his mother died in the cold massacre in the 3rd war of the mages against the very powerful Enemy of Death. They use air, water, fire, earth, and chaos magic. Neither Call nor his dad like magic. When the time comes for his magic school test to get into the magisterium he is picked as an apprentice even though he is ranked last and tries his hardest to fail.
“No, I did not go to the trial, I did not hear the verdict because I knew all the time what it would be. ”(Gaines, 3) The anxiousness of Grant is vividly illustrated when he has not even been to the trial but can predict the outcome. He gives us a setting in his head even though he was never there with a total inevitable result. This imagery of an environment forces us to make assumptions of what had happened.

Leonard Peltier should not have been convicted with extreme punishments for his alleged crimes due to biases from the court and law enforcement and inconsistent and incorrect information- Interviews with investigators and witnesses, government memos, and reports accounting for the event. There will also be trial excerpts, including testimonies and affidavits from the people involved.
Eric Foner’s “The Fiery Trial” is like no other book written of one of the most influential figures of American history paired with one of the most popular issues of American history, Abraham Lincoln and slavery. Foner deliberately strays away from the commonly written biography of Lincoln"s regular life by choosing to follow the path of his political career instead. By taking onhat would seem to be an obvious topic, Lincoln and slavery, and manages to cast new light on it. . This is a wise move since Lincoln was a politician to the core.

He clearly knew that the only way to know if you could trust someone is to give them a chance to break their trust. The theme of the story, The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle by Avi, is to know people before you trust them, for not everyone can be trusted. The author first develops a theme when Charlotte tries to give the dirk back to Zachariah he tells her that she may never know what might happen and that she needs to keep it to stay safe.
The Nuremburg Trials In 1933, Adolf Hitler and his Nazi government implemented policies to persecute German-Jewish people and others who they considered enemies of the Nazi party. Over the next ten years over six million European Jews and an estimated four to six million non-Jews were murdered. In 1943, the United States, Great Britain, the Soviet Union and other countries formed allies to bring justice to the ones who were responsible for these killings. Winston Churchill of Great Britain, Joseph Stalin of the Soviet Union, and President Roosevelt were leaders of the allied nations who wanting to punish the Nazi leaders for their inhumane involvement in the Holocaust.
Throughout The Maze Runner, Thomas had a series of flashbacks. During the first one, he kept hearing a voice saying “everything is going to change.” In the second flashback, a girl appeared. She told Thomas that he has to choose. The timing of this flashback was perfect because soon after he had it, the same girl was sent up to the Glade.
He has to in any way help out or reach for help. It also shows how he fights for what is right and creates connections just to prove his point rights. Based on the quote and the incident that occured, Thomas has affected and created the theme of friendship at that moment. If Thomas just let those two individuals
