"The Warrior's Path, yet another book by Louis L'Amour, and yet another story involving another Sackett boy, is the story about Kin Sackett, who was caled upon to save two girls who mysteriously dissapeared while taking a walk through the woods. Many others had blamed the Indians for the abduction of the two women, but Kin soon discovered that the dissapearence of the girls was because of a ploy that capurted white girls who were disliked by the community, and sold as slaves over seas. Kin was able to rescue the girls, and if word got around to the community that he helped bring the unwanted girls back to thier village, the village may not be very fond of him, and he might accidently captured too. They start thier voyage home, the ship they were aboard gets attacked, they are able to defeat the other vessel, buyt thier ship is horribly dameged and they must find land. When they arrive on they land, the captain of the ship marries Diana and Kin and they head back home. Upon returning home kin's settlement is attacked by one of Pittengel's men, Max Bauer. Max threatnes to kill everyone in the community unless Diana is back in thier possession. Kin and max go toe to toe, and at first it looked Max was going to mclaim victory, but at the final moment Kin is able to get Max at a vunerable position and take his life with a knife. Max's death was satifying , and was a signal that book had reached its finale resolve. in the end, This was one of L' Amour's better books. Many of the other books were unthrilling to read, especially any that contain anybody with the last name " Sakkett". I do have to admit that L'Amour knows how to write accurate historical fiction, even though it isnt that interesting, olr the least bit entertaining, at least its
