While there was an unexpected delay on this chapter. Tokyo Ghoul Re Chapter 134 is now officially up and running. Speaking of running, there seem to be a lot of that in this chapter along with massive amount of chaos and pandemonium. Not to mention the worst element Tokyo Ghoul is known for… Tragedy!! Chapter Summary: We continue from the epic cliffhanger from chapter 133 with Urie and Kuroiwa going head to head with Furuta’s fellow clowns. Urie uses his Kagune to fight back while Kuroiwa uses a regular sword on the wall in order to fight back. With amazing teamwork, both Urie and Kuroiwa manage to push back both Rio and Roma. Is what I was thinking when both Urie and Kuroiwa had to take on Furuta’s goons. I must saw the teamwork between Urie and Kuroiwa was a spectacle to read. There tag team effort truly enjoyable to read and the art. The art did a good job of really showing the energy of all the characters. Especially how Kuroiwa was using a regular sword in combat against ghouls. With Kuroiwa being among the few with the strength to rival ghouls he is probably the only one(besides his son) that is capable of using a regular sword to fight off a ghoul. After all “There’s a trick to it.” but even though Kuroiwa had the strength, he still used his wits within the battle by aiming for the eyes with his sword. It has been stated many time over the series that the eye of a ghoul is just as vulnerable as a human’s. Sure Kuroiwa may have lost a hand in the process but he takes it like a champ and still manages to fight back and chokes one out in the process.
