In the book Where Men Win Glory, our protagonist Pat Tillman starts his life as a NFL Player and changes his career into becoming part of the army. Pat Tillman was born in November 6, 1976 in Fremont, California and played for the Arizona State University as a linebacker. He graduate from school with a 3.85 GPA in a business degree. In 1998, he got drafted in the NFL as the 226th pick by the Arizona Cardinals. In May 2002, eight months after 9/11 he rejected a deal for $3.6 million contract and went into the Army with his brother.
1) Isaac Hourwich’s purpose in writing this book is to oppose the claims of the Immigration Commission as there are also many stereotypes of Immigrants created by Native born Americans and also challenge the findings of the Immigration Commission. Hourwich uses his economic aspects to explain that Immigrants do not cause the labor market to decline, decreases wages, and increase unemployment in the United States. This movement was for social and economic changes for women, who were held back by men and society's view of women in general.

The book In the Country of Men by Hisham Matar is one that explores many themes. Suleiman, who is one of the main characters of the book, is a nine-year-old boy who witnesses Libya under the dictatorship of Qaddafi. As a young boy, Suleiman is quite observant and ignorant about many things occurring during that time. He witnesses his father and others rebelling, while under Qaddafi’s regime. His father Faraj along with others like Ustath Rashid and Moosa are part of the rebellion against the government.

In an extension of this research, McCroskey and Kretzschmar (1977) found that college graduates with high communication apprehension are more likely to marry immediately upon graduation than graduates with lower communication apprehension. This effect was hypothesized on the basis of the presumed difficulty for the person with high communication apprehension to engage in courtship behaviors and the attractive alternative of marrying the person with whom the person had been dating steadily in college.
