Natalee Ann Holloway was an American teenager who went missing on May 30, 2005. She had recently graduated high school, and was on a graduation trip to Aruba in the Caribbean. The last person to be seen with Natalee was Joran Van der Sloot, a dutch already convicted of killing Stephany Flores' Ramirez years earlier, and many leads have led Aruban police to believe that he killed Holloway. However, the details aren't concrete. Even though no arrests have been made connected to the kidnapping or murder of Natalee Holloway, detailed evidence proves that Joran van der Sloot killed Holloway and disposed of her body to cover up the crime.
It really depends on the child and their capacity to recall and identify events and people. The most famous case I know where a child witness was the key witness was the Lester Street Murders in Memphis, TN. On March, 2008, Jessie Dotson went to 722 Lester Street, where his brother, Cecil, lived with his girlfriend and their children. Jessie killed four adults were multiple gunshot wounds, killed two children, ages 2 and 4, who were beaten and stabbed. Three other children, one just 2 months old, also were beaten and stabbed, but survived the attack.
The Prosecutor of the Jodi Arias murder trial was Juan Martinez During the report of the crime scene detectives figured out that there were no suspects involved with the murder, other than an ex-girlfriend that people talked negatively about and wouldn’t stop bothering Travis. Detectives spoke with her and she claimed she had nothing to do with the murder of Travis, but later on changed her story and admitted to killing Travis, but as an act of self-defense. Flaws within her story started to make her look bad and evidence contradicted everything she said. Martinez soon figured out that there was a receipt for a five gallon gas can that she purchased and two five gallon gas cans that she borrowed from a friend, so she was in possession of 15

In the case of Tara Brown’s murder, various groups of individuals are affected. As well as maintaining principles of fair punishment and deterrence, the criminal justice system has to consider perceptions of the victim’s family (secondary victim), the community’s demand for crime prevention, and the offender’s rights to a fair court hearing. The most likely outcome is imprisonment for Lionel John Patea due to committing an indictable offence. It is important to note that if this was only a case of domestic abuse without murder, it would utilise more time, effort and expenses to come to a resolution. This is due to the different circumstances and degree of abuse that the judge has to assess.

Author, Anita Larsen, in her nonfiction textbook article “The Murder with No Body” about a murder solved without an actual victim writes to inform young adults about the role of forensics in solving crimes by using the case of Helen McCourt in a serious tone. This author supports her central idea very successfully. She supports her claim by introducing the case of Helen McCourt, whose disappearance was unexplained and suspicion of foul play could not be proven. She next proceeds to show that a name in the victim's diary led the investigators to blood stained clothes in the possession of Ian Simms, but the inability to prove that the clothes were McCourt’s halted the investigation. Additionally, she explains that the use of genetics had to

In the case of Mary Barnett, I agree with the courts decision to find her guilty of second degree murder and manslaughter. This is largely based on my analysis of the witnesses presented during the trial and the demeanor and actions of the defendant. Having an associates degree in psychology helped me formulate decisions about the role of each character and what part they were to play during the course of the trial. I utilized the teaching from the text book as well as the concepts from my social psychology class which required me to people watch and analyze the surroundings, body language, and actions of others.
1. Does this case support or contradict Weber’s arguments about the monolithic power position of bureaucracy in society? Both cases, How Kristen Died and The Columbia Accident supported everything Weber described. Weber wanted to maximize efficiency as well as eliminate favoritism. Weber’s overall reason for creating bureaucracy was so that a new administrative system could be created that would treat all humans equally.
