Mrs. Ferri’s unfortunate demise was a shock to all who knew her. She was a promising star on the brink of greatness. She was an aspiring musical talent along with her bandmate, Sra. Martinez in the group Las Profesoras. Everyone was shocked when she announced she would go single in her musical aspirations. The world was even more shocked that she was killed at the school she worked at. The only one not shocked by this announcement was her bandmate, Sra. Martinez. She was not shocked because she was the one to kill Mrs. Ferri. Sra. Martinez killed Mrs. Ferri without remorse in the school cafeteria with a ruler.

Ferri was last seen by Ms. Beeman at around 4:15. Her body was discovered by janitorial staff at 4:40. The short time period between the last sighting of Ferri and her body being discovered means that the killer would not have time to hide the body. Along with Ferri’s body, a significant amount of blood and the murder weapon was found on the floor in the cafeteria where the body was found. If there was such a small window for the time of death, it is unlikely the perpetrator would have had time to place the body in a different location, stage the fake crime scene, and avoid the other faculty members. Ferri’s body came from her neck. Sticking out from her neck was a ruler commonly found throughout the school. The ruler had severed her carotid artery and it was the only wound on her body. If an instrument has severed a major artery and caused major blood loss, it is likely to be a major injury. As Mrs. Ferri was not discovered immediately after the attacker left her in the cafeteria, her injury easily turned fatal. The ruler was the weapon that killed Mrs. Ferri.
Sra. Martinez threw out an old pair of boots she was seen wearing the day of Mrs. Ferri’s murder. The tops of the shoes had a dried red substance identified as blood on them. As the substance has been tested to be blood Sra. Martinez had to have been at the crime scene before the janitorial staff. Martinez could have helped and confessed about contaminating the crime scene.Because she did not admit she contaminated the crime scene, it looks like she was involved with the murder. Sra. Martinez confirmed her involvement by contaminating the crime scene.
Martinez could have been framed. Someone could have worn her shoes to the crime scene and killed Mrs. Ferri, then disposing of her boots. However, Sra. Martinez had motive to kill Mrs. Ferri and was scheduled to be with Mrs. Ferri at the time of her
