In my essay, I will be explaining and talking about the quote: “I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleep and permanent planet.” The quote is by Jack London, who is also the author of, “The Call of the Wild”. Not only will I explain what the quote means, but also why I agree with it, how I connect with it, and why you should agree with it too.

The quote, in my opinion, means a lot. It explains how London would rather be a superb human being living life to the fullest with a smile always on his face, than live a life that is simple and never changes. A life that is just a huge circle repeating itself by doing the same thing every day is boring and pointless. That is what I believe and I am sure London agrees with what I believe too. I agree with this quote because who wouldn’t want to live an extraordinary life over a boring, average life? I connect with this quote because this quote is one of those quotes that make you feel like you can follow it and live by it. This quote also connects to extreme sports because if you do extreme sports, you’re putting your life at risk and always living it up to the fullest. Some may say living life to it’s fullest is dangerous and it can kill you, for example: extreme sports. This is true but that is the point of living life to it’s fullest, you would do anything that will make you happy and enjoy life. Not only will you enjoy it, but you will also learn things that can help you in the future. If you think it is better to live life the same because it's safer, then you are very wrong. What would be the point of living a life where you do not enjoy it and it repeats everyday like a huge circle? You should get up and go enjoy life
