In many cultures around the world their are myths about a trickster hero. The Native Americans of the Pacific Northwest for example have many stories about Raven. Their trickster hero who can change his shape through magic. Long ago at the beginning of the world Raven brought the Indian people the sun the moon and fire.
Superhero is defined as, “a benevolent fictional character with superhuman powers, such as Superman”. With the exception of fictional characters, there is no one in our society with superhuman powers. In everyday life when humans think of a superhero, the immediate thought that comes to mind are these made up abilities. Despite this cliche image seen in movies or read in comics, superheroes in this world usually do not have those superhuman abilities. Versions of a superhero in reality is an individual who strives to be exceptional and lead others into being the best person possible.
Studying superheroes teach you about the liberally educated qualities listed by Cronon, and studying superheroes individually teach you the key virtues of connecting: selflessness, bravery and perseverance. In the end, to be able to learn, grow, and aid your community, you just need to connect with others. In addition to this quote, the significance of heroes in this modern society is growing, but these heroes exemplify various traits that are bold and noticeable. In fact, heroes portray simple, yet gallant traits that most things don’t have. Accordingly, today’s inspirations are highly unique, and they deliver ideals of courage and motivation to many. First and foremost, heroes have a determined mindset that ordinary people do not have.
The term superhero is by Merriam-Webster definition a figure character who has incredible powers. There is no one particular type of superhero they come in all forms; short, tall, big or little history proves that physical appearance is what makes the hero super. All the duties performed by these characters shows how the impactful the role they play is and giving a reason for why they are super. Superheroes date back for many years, and people began their fantasies over superheroes in the comic books. People have always looked to them as an escape from reality during World War II.

Superman and Wonder Woman On the day I turned 8 months old in December, my father was involved in a traffic accident that claimed his life. My mother was 2 months pregnant with my younger brother and my happy family of four quickly became a family of three. It was a tragic roller coaster for my family, but since I can’t remember, all I’ve known is who my dad was and how my mom has upheld the family. I would like to be Bruce Wayne because he is a billionaire by day, and the Batman by night. Being remarkably smart, strong, and brave, Bruce Wayne fights crime to keep the people of the city safe, which is why I have always admired Batman. After watching his movies and playing his video games numerous times, I have come to appreciate the order of conduct that he follows. Furthermore, Bruce’s physique may be his biggest attribute. Bruce Wayne is around six feet tall and weighs 250 pounds.
As small children, we all look up to superheroes as role models, or simply someone who’s amazing. Superheroes can be ordinary people, such as your mom, or they can be as iconic as Superman. People then determine what traits makes a superhero iconic. Iconic superheroes possess common traits of dual identities, extraordinary powers, and risk their lives for common citizen(s).
Superhero comics contain many conventions such as morals, a motive, extraordinary superpowers, a back story, and so on. Batman and Superman are a couple of superheroes from a wide variety of superhero comics. Both of them try to protect mankind from any hurt, harm, or danger that may come. A similarity between both of these superheroes is that they want justice in the world. With so much crime and torture going on in the world, mankind looks for a higher power to help stop it.
DC Comics had been around since the 1920s but saw little success, since no one wanted to take a gamble on a comic book series featuring unknown artists and characters. However, the launch of the "Superman" superhero in a 1938 issue of "Action Comics" began a new area of comics graphic novels; one where superheroes captivated audiences with their enviable superpowers. Public fascination with the superheroes of DC Comics came and went throughout the 1940s and 1950s. In mid-1955, the Silver Age of comics was born, characterized by a revamping of old characters that were somewhat more "human," and an amalgamation of different universes into battles royal.

For example, Superman and Batman contrast in powers. Superman an alien born with superhuman powers, which allows him to have super human strength and permits him to be self-propelled and fly in the sky amongst other special supremacies. However, Batman remains a human being with mechanical super hero powers, which he uses scientifically enhanced equipment for strength and an aircraft called the Bat to fly in the sky.
