Writing Assignment 2 Like many social institutions, policing has evolved over time. To have a society where we as humans feel safe, modern policing is influenced upon a meaningful social sustainability described as Sustainable Justice. Sustainable Justice increases the quality of life by improving the quality of relationships and social networks. A police officer that applies Sustainable Justice in dealing with a community through the works of the Police Bureaucracy. Modern policing that applies Sustainable Justice is important, and it does impact the communities around us. An option in solving this issue can involve using Sustainable Justice. Police officers could apply sustainable justice while dealing with communities and working through a Police Bureaucracy. Sustainable Justice sees conflicts and criminal acts as an opportunity to restore and improve social harmony. Police officers may use these conflicts they encounter within a community to make it more humane and equal for everyone. Police are still able to follow the tasks and duties, which include the regulations the bureaucracy requires. When dealing with a community a police officer could apply Sustainable Justice while creating a mutual respect. This simply exemplifies the officer treating someone with respect, and also giving the respect equally to everyone. When doing this the resident usually gives a mutual respect for the officer as well, this creates a mature humane relationship. Police officer can also be a figure and influence the community around them to have the same Sustainable Justice mind set. If this is not done, conflicts and criminal acts not only affect the people directly involved, but also their relatives and their surroundings.
