Scope Statement
The project scope will include: ϖ Designing and constructing a play structure for children
♣ Community approvals
Construction permits
♣ Meet safety and accessibility standards
Deliverables:
ϖ The high level/key deliverable for the project includes:
♣ A one acre play ground in the shape of the map of Canada consisting of 10 individual structures
♣ Minimize the environmental impacts of the construction on the surrounding area
Out of Scope:
♣ No modifications to the existing structures within Mooney’s Bay Park
4. Key Assumptions ϖ Project will be completed on time and within the budget ϖ Prevention of possible issues that might disrupt the community or the natural habitat of the area ϖ Rules and regulations regarding the construction will be taken into account ϖ Meteorological events will not hinder the process 5. Constraints ϖ The project must be completed before July 1st ϖ City of Ottawa’s portion of the budget is 959,750 CAD ϖ Sinking Bay Ship will be the only partner other than the City of Ottawa.
