Also, it is important to have a plan and follow a path, once you get the degree you must know what you are going to do with it. People who plan on achieving more and being relatively successful should consider going to college, whether it is an associate’s degree, which takes two years, or a Doctoral degree. Grades are extremely important, especially in junior year of high school because it is an opening for greater opportunities in the future. My first priority of excelling in school. I am currently number 13 in my class out of 362 students. This means I challenge myself with rigorous courses by taking AP, UCONN, and honors classes. Being accepted into this program I will prove how I am a dedicated, hardworking individual and serious about getting the most out of my education.

When a person uses the drugs (i.e. Adderall, Ritalin), it tricks their brain into rewarding itself for doing an unpleasant task which helps the user get more done (Matthew, Glaser, Gerhardt). College students are known to use these drugs for writing papers late at night or for taking exams.
Synthesis Essay As a senior with six months to go until graduation, looking back on the last 13 years of school there has been good and bad things. Conformity was never really a big problem in my school. Students never had to wear the same thing or eat the same thing at lunch. We always could kind of do things our own way, but also follow the rules at the same time.
Maintaining good grades is very important to me. I study a couple of nights a week for quizzes and tests. If you don’t have decent grades you won’t get into college. Even now in high school you won’t be able to precipitate in clubs like NHS if you don’t maintain a certain average. Like I said if you want to further your education after high school good grades now are a key factor.
As a freshman the transition was some what difficult for me. These are somethings I think would be good to new for the middle schoolers that are tranistioning into highschool. First keep organized. I can 't stress that enough because if you don 't you will lose things really easy and become a real mess. Another thing is a personal opinion but I don 't think that going to your locker every passing period is a good idea.
High School Graduation The beginning of the Highs School year,was a new experience for me,because of begin alone in the school without knowing nobody, not knowing the language and have zero knowledge of the academic level i need it to have in order to graduate, on the mid senior year of high school,i got a call from the counselor Mr.Calume,he told me that, in order to graduate i need it to pass 4 states exams that can be only due 2 times per year semester,and i was in my last semester of high school,so the chances of me passing those test were low for me. There for, i meet some olds friends from when i was a child from my country (Venezuela) they have move to the same school i me,so they reached me some tips and trick to pass
Many kids in this generation have grown up being told to get good grades in order to get a scholarship, which in turn allows them to go to college. Is college worth it? From my research I have concluded that college is in fact worth it. Although many college graduates end up having debt, key aspects such as wider range of opportunities, connections and higher pay add up to an overall conclusion supporting that college is in fact worth the cost. A major benefit of going to college is the amount of opportunity that arises from having a degree.
Three possible solutions for me to take -in order not to fail -are what I call the ABC’s of “Ninth grade Success.” First is the “A” which stands for having good “Attendance.” Second is the “B” which stands for having good “Behavior.” Last is the “C” which stands for passing my “Courses” with a “C” or better grade. I can achieve my ABC solutions with my “Call to Action Plan.”
High school education is considered the most important stage of one’s life because of various reasons. The secondary stage of education plays a pivotal role in channelizing the future scholastic route and deciding the career option in the life of an individual and so it gains a significant momentum. Students develop their own outlook and perspectives at this stage. They need role models at this stage. Teachers influence adolescent students at this period.
The past four years of my life hold both my highest of highs and my lowest of lows. High school can be a very awkward time period in a person’s life. Four years ago, I made the intimidating switch from St. Mary’s School to Algoma High School. There were certain aspects of high school which made me nervous, but academics was not one of them. I learned how to be a responsible student in my earlier years, and school had always come relatively easy to me.
My high school experience was a long, frustrating learning experience. I didn’t know what to expect, or what I was getting myself into. Nobody gave me the tools to understand the main focus of each year. I am going to give you tips and advice on how to succeed in high school. I will discuss 9-12th grade along with what to expect each year.
