Problem Solution Action Plan for Ninth Grade A problem facing American public schools is the high dropout rate of the ninth graders. According to Ruth Curran Neild (2009) shows that, “More than half a million young people drop out of high school each year”(1). The problem facing me is that next year, I will be a ninth grader which means that I need to take action to ensure that I do not fail. Three possible solutions for me to take -in order not to fail -are what I call the ABC’s of “Ninth grade Success.” First is the “A” which stands for having good “Attendance.” Second is the “B” which stands for having good “Behavior.” Last is the “C” which stands for passing my “Courses” with a “C” or better grade. This means that students are missing their first thirty day, which in my opinion are the most important cause you need to learn your schedule in the first month. Being absent can be a problem for me sometimes, because I become sick and sometimes sleep in late. In order for me to not have this problem next year, I need to take care of myself.
