Greg Olsen is entering his fifth season with the Carolina Panthers and become the most underrated tight end in the league in my opinion. He has no doubt become old reliable for quarterback Cam Newton to play breaks down or he just needs to find his rhythm. Olsen is coming off his best year as a pro with 84 receptions for 1,008 yards and six touchdowns that productivity resulted in his first Pro bowl selection. 2015 I predict much of the same especially with the loss of Kelvin Benjamin and the sudden inexperience at the wide receiver position. Chris McCandless was in his early 20’s, he was the kind of that guy that wanted to learn and experience life without all of the material things. He wanted to be independent from his parents and friends so Chris did something that would be insane for most of us humans but to him, it wasn’t. He went into the wild of Alaska for months, in fact, McCandless even thought he could make it out alive at the end of his journey. As a matter of fact, he was known as being a risk taker and enjoyed being out and about in the nature side of the world. Many would believe that Chris McCandless went into the wild to purposely kill himself; however, I myself believe that McCandless did not do it purposely.
Many young women feel pressure to always look their best, and pale skin is certainly not "in." But one woman, named Ashley Trenner, warned young girls that they should be thankful for the skin they are born with, because trying to change it could cost them their life. Trenner began using tanning beds when she was in high school, and she tanned so much that her mother begged her to stop. But Trenner refused, and for 15 years, she visited the tanning bed a few times every week.
People would find it hard to believe how someone who has made something of themselves would just give everything up and start a journey into the wilderness. Well that was the story behind Chris McCandless. Chris decided to drop his very successful college life and losing all links with his old life. Chris took a two year journey that went as far as to Mexico and ended in the the woods of Alaska. Some may believe that McCandless went into the wild because he was suicidal or faced a mental illness, but I believe that, he just wanted to find himself as a person so this journey was necessary.
Beliefs seem to be the core of all the unfortunate things going on in the world today. Many extremists try to force their religion on others with violence, and it is becoming a problem. Many people tend to use religion to their advantage to gain power. On the other hand religion can be used to help individuals through hard times and to gain salvation. Overall, the positive aspects of religion outweigh the negative aspects.

This school is not what students say it is. It is much more than what teachers believe it is. Is way better than the things you hear from the parents. People who has never been here think New Horizons is a school were students are not taken into consideration, where teachers dont have a voice and are threaten as animals. Doesn't it bother you?

The East Coast is making efforts to recover from the record breaking blizzard it experienced this past weekend. The snow began Friday, and stopped falling just before midnight, Saturday. The National Weather Service said that the snow was heaviest across Maryland and Delaware early Saturday before shifting toward southern New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island and southeast Massachusetts. On Saturday, highly populated locations such as New York City, Long Island, and transits from New Jersey bridges and tunnels were under a travel ban, leaving many large East Coast cities immobilized due to the extremity of the snowstorm.
Edgar Allan Poe wrote unusual stories and was even known for his eccentric and gothic style, but “The Purloined Letter” was out of the ordinary for him. This final installment of a three part series, The Gift, published in December of 1844 was a combination of both Poe’s usual gothic as well as psychological style that created the mystery genre. By presenting an only superficial resolution to a highly complex situation with intelligent and corrupt characters and a bias narrator, Poe suggests that the only story worth telling is one of a journey that never truly ends. On the surface, “The Purloined Letter,” has a detective versus criminal mastermind storyline typical of many seen today on various media from television to films to books.

In 1971, some young people from Iowa City like organic food so much, because it not only naturally growing without added preservatives but also satisfy human needs and make them healthy. These group of people founded the New pioneer Food Co-op, shortened to New Pi, as an all-natural foods store. There are two locations in Iowa City. Both of them sell local food, organic produce, meat, hormone-free seafood, and poultry as well as packaged foods that do not contain any artificial additives and which is eco-friendly. This company’s principles are: “The principles are welcoming all people, to have member-owners democratically control the business, and to ask each member-owner to contribute to our economic success”.
Previous theorists have examined works of horror and horror as a genre. Among these theorists are Edmund Burke, Jeffrey Jerome Cohen, and Noël Carroll, who examined the techniques that generate horror, the characteristics of the monster, and the role of readerly affect, respectively (Burke, 1757; Cohen, 1996; Carroll, 1990).
