Taylor Swift
The success of Taylor Swift is incomparable to any other pop star. This success had its beginnings in her early life, which later developed into the stardom of today. Taylor Swift knew what it was that she wanted to do from an early age, and she did her best to achieve that dream. She took every opportunity that came her way, and this led to her becoming a household name. An example of this is shown in one article, which states, "She learned to play guitar as a child. She began singing at local fairs and festivals at age 10. Before she was a teenager, Swift traveled regularly with her parents to Nashville to perform and write songs with local songwriters” (“Swift, Taylor”).

“Everybody in music has their own sort of niche specialty thing that they do that, you know, sets them apart from everybody else. And my storytelling is what it is for me. I know that, without me writing my own songs, I wouldn’t be here” (Miss Americana 11:17). Taylor Swift knows that the reason her career has been a success is that she has a talent for music and has her own “niche specialty thing” that she has mastered. She continues to use this niche to her advantage, which amplifies her success. The article “Taylor Swift” states, “She has seen great success throughout her career, winning countless awards for her songs, albums, and performances. Swift is the first three-time female winner of the Grammy Award for Album of the Year and has won eleven Grammies total. In 2019, Billboard named her the “Woman of the Decade”, and the American Music Awards named her “Artist of the Decade” (“Taylor Swift”). She has won many awards throughout the length of her career that have made her a very successful and critically acclaimed artist.
