When i was little,my mom asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. My answer was always “I want to be a teacher”. Now i’m just a few months away from going to high school and thinking about different teaching jobs.Since i'm older I am realizing and understanding different things about different kinds of teaching.For example, if wanted to be a preschool teacher or a 12th grade teacher there would be different roles and harder work to do. I now know what i want to do when i get out of high school. I want to be a Special Education Teacher.
Most people know what an Education Teacher does but some people don’t. So basically an Special Education Teacher is a teacher that helps students who are having trouble in school or students who have a wide range of learning, there are also students with mental, emotional, and physical disabilities. Special Education Teachers adapt general education lessons and teach various subjects such as reading,writing, and math, to students with mild and moderate disabilities. Most special teachers usually work at a public schools but some work in private schools. They also teach skills, such as literacy and communication techniques, to students with multiple disabilities.
