Recommended: Reasons why one wants to become a teacher
A large group of students in the United States makeup a large population of English language learners. Students who are considered English language learners undergo many challenges in their education, and without the necessary support and resources from their educators it can make it hard for them to succeed. A teacher plays a significant role in the success of a child, and it is crucial for them to be able to provide the proper education to students whose first language is not English. It is also very important for teachers to understand the challenges that these students are facing. Having empathy towards the students allows for the teacher to create better connections and relationships to better help them.
During my time at Dawson College, I took part in the CEGEP's social and community involvement for the course of three semesters. I volunteered at the first aid team and at the Dawson daycare center to gain experience in taking care of different people. My passion has always been to help others and to work with children. Interacting with children in the daycare triggered me to pursue my dream of taking care of young people, and what better way to fulfill those dreams than by becoming a kindergarten teacher and taking part in helping shape our future generations? Being a teacher requires a lot of patience; therefore, volunteering in the daycare helped me learn to be patient and be more understanding because every child is raised differently and all people have different stories.
Whether competing for state titles, racing to place in league meets, or merely running to stay in shape and socialize, track has had a monumental impact on the most transformative years of my life. Starting in seventh grade on my middle school team, I fell in love with track and field. While it is highly individual in nature, the community of supportive athletes and team aspect of track were what truly drew me to the sport. In total, I have participated in ten seasons of track and field, and I have grown greatly as an individual as a result. Competing in track and field has made me a more confident, conscientious, and positive person.
Teaching New York magazine says that only 6% of people get the job they wanted as a child. I’ve wanted to be a teacher my whole life. I’ve always wanted to help people grow and develop. My teachers always used to tell me I’d be an amazing teacher. When we would do group projects at school, I loved it because I got to stand up and tell these people something they may or may not already know!
I consider myself very fortunate to have found my passion in life, teaching. I truly enjoy working with young adults and cultivating their academic, emotional, and social development. My experience
My first grade teacher even made a special job for me where I would run class during our daily warm ups. My junior year I started going to going to the elementary once a week, and that is when I knew for sure I wanted to be an elementary teacher. I really love working with kids and wish I could
My goal as a 4th grade teacher is to welcome my students. Asking them if they had anything they want to share with the class and share myself if I have anything I want to share with them. After great information from my students I will start talking about what we will be doing that day and other anointments from the office or parents. I think is a great idea to volunteer some of my students to help me stay on track and have a successful day. During the day, I know I will feel happy because I will notice that my students want to learn and are in the classroom for a great reason.
Teaching was not something I originally thought of when I started school, but when I got accepted here I realized that I could be the Mrs. DeWeese to another child and be able to influence them the same way that I was. Teaching and helping middle school age children is my dream and I feel that I have the patience and passion to be able to teach them. With all the different types of bullying these days, especially cyber-bullying and peer-pressure I hope that one day I am able to become a school counselor; so that I can help more students who struggle with the pressures of middle
With technology at our fingertips, it is very easy to assess journals and articles about teachers of the year and how these teachers positively impacted the students. Looking at these articles, I wonder what qualities must a teacher possess in order to garner one of the most respected and honorable professional awards. All teachers want to help their students and make an impact in their lives. All teachers want their students to succeed. But what makes these individuals so different?
I love to teach little kids and experience what kids in these grades are like and what they like to do. I remember when I was in these grades and I loved my teacher. They seemed like they knew what they were doing and like their job. This is a part of my inspiration of becoming a teacher. The main part is because of my mother.
To me, being an educator is everything. I could never envision myself in my professional career not teaching. As I have grown personally and as a leader in my work positions, I have learned that I absolutely love to teach and inspire people to reach their fullest potential. I oftentimes find myself watching the mannerisms of my professors and feeling a sense of excitement to one day be the teacher and not just the student. I chose 7-12th grade because I know how difficult those years are for students and also how much those years set them up for their success after graduation.
Being a teacher is a continuous learning experience. I want to teach because I love seeing that light bulb go off in a student's head, because they were able to apply information to a situation,
I have known in my heart since I was a little girl what I wanted to be when I grew up. I have wanted to become a teacher ever since my mom dropped me off on my first day of kindergarten. I could remember walking up to my teacher who was greeting each student at the door and told her “one day I am going to be just like you” and sure enough I am hear trying to pursue my passion for teaching the youth. I have realized that my passion for helping children is a natural calling that I am destined to follow. As a child, I attended school as an escape from a not so good home life.
Education Importance Education is a priority around the world, nowadays schools are very common and are for educating our next generation. Animal Farm a book by George Orwell, takes place on Manor Farm a farm owned by Mr. Jones, who the animals revolt against and eventually kick out. The animals rename the farm “Animal Farm” and create their own political system known as animalism. education is important and has many advantages with an education comes the chance to receive better jobb, education decreases the poverty rate , and education develops the economy. Today in our society those with an education receive better paying jobs than others without an education.
I am pursing a degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. I am passionate about education and excited to share the joy of learning with students. The perspective of wonder and sense of excitement that children bring into education motivates me daily. Teaching can leave a lasting impression in a child’s life and offers a special opportunity to shape the bright young minds of future generations. While many professions can be impactful, I believe the qualities of the person in the career position to be the most influential.
