Indianola School District is located north of Mississippi in Sunflower County and is rated as one of the lowest public schools in the area due to academic and financial reasons. Indianola School District includes the following cities: Indianola, Moorhead, Inverness, Sunflower, Drew, Ruleville, and Doddsville. The school district approximately has 120 teachers who are serving 4200 students on a daily basis. I became an educator to make an impact and open up children’s eyes to all possibilities that are out there. Teaching is an incredible profession. Each day is an opportunity to mold minds and stimulate creativity. When students achieve a simple or complex task, I feel it’s’ an experience for me to be a part of their success.
