The structure of the team is an on-call nursing team, which works after hours, with the field nurses working independently of each other. While there this is not a typical team, there are common team goals that need to be met. The two areas that are scored poor are: conflicts between team members are quickly aired and resolved and team administrative meeting are well organized with clear outcomes and good follow-through. Conflicts between team members tend to be ignored by management or dismissed as trivial and left to fester. The administrative meetings are not well organized, though the outcomes are clear, there is little to no follow-through for not meeting agreed upon goals. There are no consequences for not meeting team goals. Team members have openly stated they will not be held accountable for certain goals, despite having developed and agreed on the goals. There is no incentive to do so, and no consequences when goals are not met. While approximately half of the team works well together and helps each other when needed, half the team consistently does not complete the work assigned, leaving others to pick up the slack. This is causing members of the team frustrated and questioning why they are working so hard, while others are doing bare minimum and there are no consequences.
