This past year our very own Caleb Andrews was on the board for CASL as a Southern Director as well and worked all year long along the side of a number students from all across Southern California who were also Southern Directors. We are so fortunate to have such an amazing Leadership program on our campus with even greater leaders as a part of it. As a member of the admissions board for the United States University, I would like to nominate ten very accomplished individuals for acceptance into this year’s class. These ten individuals have shown their dedication in their respective fields and offer to better not only the university, but put their efforts to work together for the betterment of society. Along with these ten nominations, I have created a two person waitlist should any of the ten choose not to accept their acceptance and attend United States University this coming fall. The ten applicants I nominate for acceptance: Clarence Darrow, Charles Dawes, Babe Ruth, Robert Jones, Harold Grange, Langston Hughes, Ernest Hemingway, Duke Ellington, Charles Lindbergh, and Margaret Sanger.
Jan. xx, 2017 Dear Zeta Kappa Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma: In the 33 years Zeta Kappa Chapter has represented Kappa Kappa Gamma on the campus of Bowling Green State University, there have been obstacles and triumphs. We have certainly seen tremendous growth since your founding in 1983. Reflecting upon the past several years, however, there have been some challenges within the chapter that have been difficult to overcome.
We are beginning a legacy and we want you to be a part of it! In memory of James Wilson, Sr., our family has elected to start an endowment at Texas Southern University. This comes at a great time because the matriarch of our family, Mrs. Mary Wilson will be turning 90 this year. This gives us the opportunity to honor them both by beginning a legacy that will continue for years to come.
This sorority has proven itself committed to Improving education, living conditions, strengthening community togetherness, as well as unity amoungst
It had a strong education program, it was close to home, and my brother also went there (so I had the comfort of knowing people before I attended college there)”. She aimed for elementary degree and a special education degree. She was also into english and math at middle school level. At 2009, she became a teacher in Southern Middle School at
We hope you will remember these years fondly — the bonds of friendships you made, the opportunities for self-growth that defined you as an individual, and the intellectual development you experienced both in and out of the classroom. The Fraternity wants you to remember that this is not the end of your experience as a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, but another
Why do you believe you need, or should receive, financial assistance, such as a Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship to attend the college/university of your choice? This should include details about family situations such as: care of family members, medical situations, family financial burdens and/or how important it will be for you to work while in college. Financial information provided will remain confidential. Please do not provide any identifying information such as your first or last name or any family member's names, as all names will be deleted. I believe that I should receive the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo scholarship because of the rising tuition cost to attend Texas Tech University and due to my family’s income, Our income relies mainly on my dads farming, which the income fluctuates from year to year.
I am recommending Mrs. Stacie Freeman for the Roy & Mary Shelton Teaching Excellence and Campus Leadership Award. As a Human Services major I have the pleasure of attending Mrs. Freemans classes on a daily bases, and over the years of obtaining my degree I have come to witness firsthand her dedication not only to Bethel University but also to the community as a whole. As a student I get to work with Mrs. Freeman frequently and am extremely impressed with her work not only as a teacher here at Bethel University, but also with her involvement with the after school program within the community, her work with the service scholarship students, and her willingness to break out of her norm to teach at Dyersburg High School so that the children get a good education.
To the women of the grad chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Incorporated: The purpose of this letter is to inform you of my interest in becoming a member of the grad chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Incorporated. My desire to inspire young men and women and make a significant impact on their lives is just one of many reasons I aspire to join your great sorority. While growing up at a young age my mom worked out of my sibling lives. I did not have many positive female role models I could look to for guidance in different situations.
“Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave, I am the dream and the hope of the slave. I rise, I rise, I rise.,” to become a Delta Woman. When asked to express why I should be awarded the honor & pleasure of being apart this great sorority; I must admit I was a bit overwhelmed but also very humbled. However, I am reminded of the great women Delta Sigma Theta has helped mold some of the most influential women in the world. I want to be apart of the most illustrious sorority organization.
It is with great pride that we write this recommendation letter for Mrs. Lori Dornburg for the Outstanding Educator Award. We first met Mrs. Dornburg in 2008, when our eldest son was in the 5th grade and involved in Student Council and Academic Extensions at Sartell Middle School, and got the chance to have both of our kids participate in Sartell Middle School extracurricular activities under her guidance over eight years. She is one of the few people from the Sartell – St. Stephen School District that the whole family will never forget, and her impact on our kids and our family cannot be documented within one or two pages. Mrs. Dornburg is a very knowledgeable, pleasant, kind, easy-going, energetic, creative, and sincere educator.
Today I am deeply humbled to be recognized as a potential member of the National Honor Society. To me this means I have exemplified everything you look for in a student who goes above and beyond, not just in academics but in athletics, the community and at home as well. I have not taken this selection for granted, as I believe would be a great asset to the National Honor Society. I am hardworking, honest, reliable and quite charismatic too. I hold all the qualities required by the distinguished NHS like leadership, service, character and scholarship.
I am looking for more than just academics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During my four years at Northwood High School, I became involved in numerous academic and extracurricular activities. As a result, I have been recognized and honored for achievements both inside and outside of school. I realize that titles and academic achievements are limited, but some of the impact I have on my community and other people’s lives is what really matters. Therefore, I plan to continue my active involvement in extracurricular activities while I am a college student.
