Within this essay, I am going to talk about how I think our music video went and how we worked as a group to create it. I think as a group we worked well to get the music video done, being there a few instances where the group didn’t work very well either, this will be talked about within the essay as well, but I think as a group we worked well, our communication skills between us worked well in both working on documents and working on and off shoot, the group at the beginning didn’t communicate well with the client, we first gave the job of communicating with the client to one person to do, this turned 0out to not work as well as all of us being in touch with the client, which was done toward the end of the project. we wanted to have a vintage feel to the video, that was the main part and style to the music video, the other part was the “make me a boi” lyric in the song, this was done because the song is about gender fluidity and the change between people being who they are, so every time that the lyric was said there was a costume change in the edit. I think both were successfully shown throughout the video and I think both ideas worked well, the deep crop and the intense black and white colour grade that was put onto the video I think worked well with this as well.
