This movie is an adjustment of Christopher Buckley's novel about the world of lobbyists.It gives an image of politics, media exploitation and the culture of lobbyists by using humor. The film stars with the movie with a talk show called Joan where there Naylor was on the air with a host of no-smoking advocates and a 15-year-old cancer boy who is brought to in to create awareness on teen smoking. Naylor twisted the whole scenario through his skills of manipulation and made it seem like an anti-smoking advocate wanted the boy dead. Naylor also has an ex-wife who always was anger with him for inculcating his son with values which she thought that were unethical, especially to a child.However, his son Joey respected, supported him and showed the huge amount of interest to understand his profession.The film obviously illustrates the relation and connection between various groups in the society who are constantly in the fight with each other because of their desire to get the largest piece of the pie. These groups can do anything to protect their livelihood, and this is where lobbyists like the Tobacco Studies comes into the picture. They manipulate, corrupt and do whatever it takes so that they to succeed and appear.An example for it is when Naylor made the cowboy who promoted Marlboro to shut up his mouth as he was dying because of cancer.This kind of ability that he showed in persuading him was one of the most remarkable scenes for me.Even thought it was unethical it clearly described the skill and the level of competence that it requires surviving in the field of lobbying.On the other hand, it was government side; there was the senator who disagreed and opposed the promotion of cigarettes in a right or cool way because he was afraid that young generations can be fooled and misled.He also claimed that cigarettes covers should have a danger sign which is skull and bones with the word poison.Even why the senator itself is egoist and is ready to do whatever it takes to get the advantage of it.Then later Naylor is sent to
