Ronald Reagan once stated “Peace is not absence of conflict, it is the ability to handle conflict by peaceful means”. In the passage “The Diary of a Young Girl” by Anne Frank, a story of how a young girl responds to conflict by staying optimistic. In “Dear Miss Breed”, written by Joanne Oppenheim, Japanese children of all ages write letters to Miss Breed that explain the conflicts that the individuals have and how the children overcome and resolve it. Others may say that the most effective way to respond to conflict is to stand up for what a person believes in, however, the best way that people can respond to a conflict is to have a positive outlook because it helps to not focus on the hardships in an individual’s life, alleviates stress, and affects other people 's attitude. If an individual has a vigorous and encouraging outlook on something, it will help not to focus on the ominous events going on in their life.
In The Help, Miss Eugenia “Skeeter” Phelan takes many risks and has to make some very hard decisions that could seriously affect people other than herself. Throughout the story, Hilly Holbrook is extremely rude and difficult to handle. Being put in Skeeter's shoes, I definitely wouldn't have been friends with Hilly for as long as she was. I feel as though Skeeter was guilted into being ¨friends¨ with her because they grew up together.
The deductive problem of evil is the observed inconsistency between the definition of God’s omnipotence, omniscience, and wholly good qualities and the existence of evil. Adams attempts to address this observed contradiction, first by referencing previous arguments of how God must have some wholly good reason to allow these evils but she concludes that not only is this argument insufficient but it is also insensitive to people’s immense sufferings. Adams then suggests that this inconsistency won’t be resolved in searching for the reasons why God allows horrendous evils but how. In this perspective of how God allows for so many horrendous evils to exist, Adams is able to create a compelling argument to God and all of his omni qualities to coexist

In the story “ Thank You Ma 'am ” I believe that Mrs Jones is caring because Mrs. Jones brings Roger into her house, and tries to help Roger. The most obvious why Mrs.Jones is caring is because she lets Roger into her house even when he tried to steal her purse, I know I would never just let him in my house if he tried to steal my purse I would of called the police. First of all she brings Roger to her house and then makes him dinner. I would never make a boy dinner who tried to steal my purse.
It shows her threatening and aggressive trait because kicking and forcing people to do exactly what you want them to do makes you hostile. Later in the story, Mrs. Jones, slams the door in the boy’s face, resulting that he could barely say, “Thank you Ma’am,” to her. After reading that part of the story, I remembered what my dad tells me. Whenever we have guests leaving, we should wait for them to reach their car before I can
