Contrary to this I do not believe that rap is directly correlated with violence.
One way that rap music have become an impact on our youth, is game related, youth violence, racism, drugs etc. All of these shifts and paradigms affect rap music because of the words that some of the rappers use in a way to make about them. In addition to, looking at how hip-hop/rap music have change over the course years, one will understand how it developed as well as a way that an effective youth ministry would take to reach students in the Hip-Hop culture/rap music.

At first, it had no name, but then the name “Rap” came to life meaning someone who was talking or having a conversation while music played in the background. The rapper or MC that made this genre come to life was named D.J. Kool. Most people may not realize how rap first started, it has changed through time, or the influence it has had on other people.
