The American Dream
Everyone dreams about having a nice lifestyle and have wealth right? No one wants to be or live in poverty. The dream about having this type of lifestyle is called the American Dream. Many people referred to the dream when they needed hope in their life. This idea of a dream for people and the country was brought up around the 1920’s during the Depression (Brandt). The American Dream had many meanings to people, impacted lives in positive and negative ways, and had opinions about if it was realistic.
