The American dream.. The term American Dream means to me equal rights throughout everybody. All white and all black should be treated equal no matter what. “ When Whites Just Don’t Get It “, Nicholas Kristof developed articles on the Michael Ferguson case and proved that black African Americans are treated wrong in America. Whites will never get it because they will look at the black men to be the reason of every crime. White and blacks are both human. They should both be treated with equal rights and to be treated as an “ American “. It all starts with the young black teens in high school. According to Nicholas Kristof “ When Whites Just Don’t Get It Part 1 “ Nearly 70% of middle aged black men who never graduated from high school have been improsend”. According to Nicholas Kristof again in “Whites Just Don’t Get It Part 2”. “ 55% of robbery arrest in 2012”. Those are all statistics which shows its not a black or white problem its an American problem and shows how the system is developed. “In Louisiana a study found that a person is 97% more likely to be sentenced for death for murdering a white person then a black person”. …show more content…
