When JonBenet’s body was found, it was covered by one of her blankets. Several crime analysts have questioned the action simply because in prior cases when the body was covered, the action meant that the murder felt remorse. This again, lead authorities to believe that someone close to JonBenet murdered her. Another factor authorities found odd was undigested pineapple was found in JonBenet’s stomach when her autopsy was being conducted. According to JonBenet’s family, pineapple was one of JonBenet’s favorite foods. Since the pineapple was undigested, authorities believed that she was fed pineapple by her supposed killer before she was murdered. JonBenet’s body was found in the room referred to as the wine cellar in the Ramsey’s home. The room was mainly empty, and the room was rarely used. An alleged home intruder entered the Ramsey’s home through the basement, since there was a window left ajar in one of the rooms. In front of the window sat a suitcase, perfectly angled toward the window. Investigators believed it was angled too perfectly, to the point that no one entering or exiting the basement would have been able to use it to jump up to the window. The window allegedly used to enter the home also was covered by a crawl space, making it incredibly difficult to climb through, since the space was so narrow. When investigators were recording the crime scene, cobwebs can be seen in the window the intruder used to enter the Ramsey home. Critics claimed it would be impossible for any cobwebs to be left in the frame of such a small window, especially since it was dark outside when the intruder was entering the home. During a CBS special on the JonBenet Ramsey case, investigators created a life size replica of the crime scene, even including artificial cobwebs in the window. Investigators simulated the intruder breaking in and exiting, trying not to disturb the cobwebs in the corner of the window. The conclusion led investigators to be believe the crime scene was staged; the investigators
