Revelation is one of the grandest gifts during a man's mortal journey. Every revelation is a pearl. Through diligence and repentance one can receive revelation daily (Hel. 11:23). Often, I ponder the many revelations that I have received. Although a pearl for me, not everyone has the same appreciation for what I hold most dear. I believe this is what Jesus meant when he commanded not to cast one's pearls before swine (Matt. 7:6). The Pearl of Great Price is truly a gift from God because of the revelations that one may receive from within its pages. Like The Book of Mormon, one can come to know God through its teachings.

First, The Lord said he will multiply Abraham and his seed (Abraham 3:14). He compares this multiplication unto sand. God also reveals unto Abraham, Kolob, the greatest of all the stars because of its proximity to God. One will always be more intelligent than the other because spirits have no beginning or end. (Abraham 3:19). This is a critical teaching. Before earth life, man existed, however, unorganized. God instituted law to bring to pass the organizations of spirits. This implies that there were also less noble and less great. Spirits are eternal. There is always one above the other, there is always one more intelligent. God is more intelligent than man. There were many that were ordained, called, prepared before the earth’s existence. This took place by the foreknowledge of God. Based upon faith, good works; righteously using freedom of choice. Specifically, those with exceedingly great faith are called with a holy calling (see Alma 13:3-5). If others would not reject the Spirit of God (hardness of their hearts and blindness of their minds) then they would have great privilege too. All started on the same plain. In and through the atonement were those that were
