The Celtics are the best franchise due to winning rings, having the best regular season record in NBA history, and producing all-time great legends.
The Celtics have the most championships out of any team in NBA history and have the best finals record. Celtics have 17 rings making them number 1 for championships along with the LA Lakers. This signifies that the Celtics not only have the most rings but are also a very dominant team.
