Joanna Trollope, a british writer, once said,“You can change yourself and you can change the situation but you absolutely cannot change other people. Only they can do that.” In the fictional world of Charles Dickens, a man who has been a terrible ogre for decades has the chance to change his ways, this was Ebenezer Scrooge in The Christmas Carol. Is it possible for terrible people to completely change who they are, in real life? People can reform entirely if they have others willing to help them, their mind is positive on the task at hand, and is willing to change their own future for the better. People transform to become better, for the sake of their future. Changing is hard to do, but if having people helping, a positive mind, and wanting to get better for the future, might be able to do the trick. Someone that is there for others, can give hope to those wanting to change, that people can change. Just knowing people can alter their life to become better, halfway reaching to those goals already. Seeing that a person will be able to live in his or her’s own future, the future that was thought of from when everyone had big dreams, yet little minds to do so.
