Marijuana is a controversial topic in America leaving everyone wondering, should it be or should it not be legal? Myself, having the similar question, looked at two different viewpoints regarding the issue. Only instead of primarily focusing on strictly marijuana legalization, I chose to specifically search for legalization of cannabidiol, oil that derives from cannabis. With using cannabis oil, or any drug, there is a risk that the product will give side effects, whether good or bad. According to Professors Wayne Hall and Louisa Degenhardt, they argue the latter: that non-medicinal use of cannabis has negative effects on a person’s health.

The tip also stated that he had drugs on school grounds that day and was planning a drug deal. Principal Lyons searched Crumans phone and found the private facebook group. Cruman shortly after, admitted to where he was hiding the drugs on campus and where the drug deal was going to go down .
I Wrote This Because I Got High Marijuana has become the most controversial drug in the current era. With both sides on marijuana legalization spreading lies or bending the truth about marijuana to advance their political agenda, it is challenging for the younger generation to learn and understand the truth about marijuana. Anti-drug campaigns such as the Just Say No Campaign do not educate kids about marijuana, but rather rely on convincing kids to blindly say no to marijuana. Afroman's "Because I Got High" provides a different perspective about marijuana. While the song glorifies getting high with its upbeat and fun tone, the lyrics seem to expose the consequences of getting high.

You both include a very interesting notion within this post that made me think a little more. I would agree that it is vital to look at health care relative to the specific patient and community or culture. This can make a huge difference in the direction treatment takes. Amy, I believe you are completely correct in stating that it is more prominent for individuals to seek out natural treatment options. Our society is shifting to the focus of being organic and naturally healthy, as can be seen with diet and exercise discussions, so it would follow that health care may be next.
Marijuana has been labeled as taboo in America for many years. Nevertheless some states have legalized it while others have not. Despite its many uses the federal government considers the possession and usage of marijuana a criminal act, even though there is evidence that legalization would have a positive influence on America. People are taking medicines that aren’t even helping and they just keep getting more medicines thrown at them and they are just suffering because they haven’t found the right medicine that can help keep their disabilities at bay. Medical marijuana can be an answer to a lot of people’s problems.
