It's madness in Salem. Innocent people were hanged and accused of things they didn't do. So much people are in jail and are dead. There are livestock roaming in around and children don't have their parents. The crops are dying and no one is producing food for the town and getting wood. Rebecca Nurse, Sarah Good, Elizabeth Proctor, Martha Corey, Goody Osborne, Tituba and many others were accused of witchcraft. The town is full of vengeance, sin and hate. Abigail Williams who was also accused claimed she loves God and is on their side. She said she saw Goody Hawkins, Goody Booth and Goody Sibber with the Devil, she was lying and is the cause for all this madness. It's so obvious that people are accusing others for vengeance and to get what they want. Abigail accused Elizabeth so she can be executed and she can have John Proctor.The Putnam’s accused George Jacobs because they know that George has hundreds of acres land. When a person is hanged, their land cannot be passed down and it has to be forfeited. This means that the land is ope for sale.
