In Greek mythology they believed in a second order of divine, males were Titans and women were called Titaness. The Titans were one of twelve primeval deities. The Titans were made up of six men and six women, their mother was Gaia, who was the mother of the earth and the father Uranus was the father of the sky. The six Titans were Oceanus, Hyperion, Coeus, Cronus, Crius, and Lapetus. The six Titaness were Mnemosyne, Tethys, Theia, Phoebe, Rhea, and Themis.

Pandora is created unlike any other gods, because she is made out of clay by Hephaestus. Because of this, Pandora does not have a mother or father. However, she marries Epimetheus and bears a daughter named Pyrrha.

Unsurprisingly, they too were given birth by another "generation" or form. The beings that gave birth to the gods and goddesses are called Titans. One of the, if not the most robust Titan, is Atlas. He is the lead Titan in their Titanomachy, or the Titans' war against the gods for control of the heavens.
Cronus, one of the most interesting greek gods there is. Romans called him Saturn, he was the lord of the universe. He has Quite a few features about him that make him stand out and makes him more interesting than the others, his family history, unique personality, and symbols that represent him, all make him one of a kind. Ouranos, and gaia, gave birth to Cronus, which then gave birth to Rhea. Cronus and Rhea had 7 children after that.

She was married to the titan perses and had a daughter, Hecate. Asteria was the goddess of nocturnal oracles and shooting stars. Zeus persued her, but asteria instead turned into a quail and feel into the Aegean to escape. If there was a particularly good harvest one season it was because the Gods were satisfied. One God that most people know is Zeus who was god of the sky, rain and clouds was who was responsible for the weather. Zeus was not a man who you wanted to make unhappy because he was kind of a leader of the Gods, he was one of the most powerful.

The purpose of these mythologies is to teach a lesson or used as an explanation to make sense of the impossible. They are also a great lesson to guide the human behaviour. The nature of Gods varies from one culture to the other. Gods, across all culture are often seen as the ultimate all powerful, all-knowing, divine, fair and kind figure.
